With the first part of Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings prequel, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, hitting theaters in only a week, Toronto fans are now getting the opportunity to really get up close and personal with many of their Middle-earth favorites. Starting on December 12, the Ontario Science Centre will open its Hobbit exhibit to the public, but only until January 2, 2013. The exhibit will display 17 different characters from Jackson‘s film, each shown in unique, 3D lenticular images. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be in North American theaters in 2D, 3D and IMAX on December 14. ~Brandon Bastaldo
