Hobbit fans will be excited to learn that the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Peter Jackson‘s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is now available for pre-order on Amazon.com. There are actually two versions being offered — a standard version and a special edition — and both are expected to be released on December 11, just days before the movie finally hits theaters on December 14. While we’ve been seeing lots of images from the film, no cover art for the soundtrack has been revealed yet. The score for the highly-anticipated film has been composed by Grammy winner Howard Shore, who also did the scores for Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
