Five new images from Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey have surfaced. These new movie stills, which were made available to the public late last week, now offer Middle-earth fanatics a glimpse at some of the monstrous characters that Bilbo Baggins and the dawrve company encounter on their way to the Smaug’s layer in the Misty Mountains. We get to see trolls, wargs, goblins and even a peek at the meeting of the White Council. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters December 14. ~Brandon Bastaldo
